Rohit Chandra and Chef Ali Hassan started Bland is Boring to address the problem of people eating tasteless junk and calling it a good meal.
BIO: Chef Ali Hassan began his crusade against blandness and mediocre food when he was just 12. He told his mother he hated her Kraft Singles and tomato sandwiches and she yelled back that he could make his own if he was going to “act like a jackass”. The next day he made his first feta and olive omelet sandwich. It was a disgusting, soggy mess. But still, the seed had been planted. Chef Ali has been cooking for friends, family and clients for the last 20 years. He is a chef, caterer, cooking instructor, stand-up comic and actor….but most importantly, he is a man who appreciates FLAVOUR!!
